Transportation

By car or motorbike

Transportation by car may be more costly than using public transport, it is however ideal for exploring every corner of the island and discovering its many hidden beauties. You can quickly and cheaply, rent a car and arrange to have it waiting at the harbour or at the airport. Renting a car or a motorbike is a great solution that allows you to explore Mykonos at the pace that suits you. A car can be rented for all your stay or just for a part of it. You will find several car rental companies, many of which offer special rates. You will need to provide a valid driving license issued in your country of residence at least one year ago (some companies require 2 years). If your license has been issued with additional documents, you must also provide these. If your license has not been issued in an EC / ECA country, you may need an international driving license.
