I had the honor these past days to welcome to the Town Hall of always hospitable Mykonos the Consul General of France in Athens, Ms. Diane Roeser, the much-loved and great actor Giorgos Konstantinou, as well as our friend and esteemed Mayor of Hersonissos, Crete, Zacharias Doxastakis.

The presence of the French Consul General on our island is both an honor and a recognition of Mykonos’s international role as a global destination.

With heartfelt emotion, we welcome figures who have left an indelible mark on our culture and society, while we always keep channels of cooperation open with local government across the country, for our shared vision and the future of our islands.
