Peter of Mykonos!!!

When, in early 2024, Deputy Mayor for Sanitation Konstantinos Sachas, upon assuming his new duties, realized the Municipality’s lack of vehicles, he decided to purchase and donate a truck to the Municipality (Municipal Committee Decision 61/2024).

However, along with the vehicle, he also gifted something else: its driver!

This is how our collaboration with Petros Chaniotis began.

What started as a joke proved to be a lifesaver for our island!

Petros and his team cleared Mykonos of all bulky waste, and the disposal sites were transformed within a few days.

What can one say about this champion who gave his all like no one else and fights daily for our Mykonos?

Without fanfare, driven solely by his love for his homeland, Petros “sweeps” the island from end to end.

As he himself says, he draws courage from the huge flag with the double-headed eagle .
