On Friday, we enjoyed a unique musical experience with the great composer Nikos Kypourgos present. On stage, the distinctive voices of Savina Yannatou and Dorós Demosthenous, together with the Artmill Festival choir, took us on a journey through the composer’s beloved songs.

The performance soared thanks to the enchanting direction of Chloi Mantzari, who also contributed texts and appeared on stage, while acrobat Giannis Smeros joined her, adding a distinctive theatrical dimension.

Stilts, balloons, little boats, bubbles, and other imaginative elements framed the evening, creating atmospheres that transported us to dreamlike, fairytale worlds. The audience didn’t want the magic to end, so the artists gifted us with beloved songs once more in a moving encore.

It was an evening full of music, imagery, and emotion—an experience that will stay with us for a long time.
