Cultural, Athletic and Social Organization "G. Axiotis"

The Cultural Organization "G. Axiotis" uses for the fulfillment of its purposes the halls of the Grypario Cultural Center, located in Argyraina, Mykonos. Its use was given by the decision no 148/2006 of the BoD at the C.O. "G. Axiotis".

Grypario is an integrated multifunctional building complex with high aesthetic spaces, equipped with the latest technology with sound and lighting systems. It also has a number of auxiliary and other spaces in the basements of the building as well as an area of ​​considerable size of 14 acres, already configured for its basic functions to be used accordingly.

The integrity of the building presupposes its availability for events of quality, seriousness and high cultural, educational and social content so as to ensure the purposes for which it was donated by Nicholas and Sofia Gryparis to the Municipality of Mykonos and accordingly should be operated and maintained.

The main event hall has a capacity of 220 people on the ground floor and 100 on the balcony, while the floor of the building has a capacity of 80 people.

Grypario is used by the cultural organisation "G. Axiotis" who is appointed and responsible for the assignment to third parties in accordance with the articles of its regulation.

The event halls are used by the cultural organisation for all its events (speeches, lectures, conferences, concerts, theater and dance performances, projections, etc.) as well as the Municipality of Mykonos,  the Public Entities and its municipal enterprises, cultural operators, conference organizers, etc.
