Portraits Landscapes Exhibition by Ingo Brosch
The Municipal Art Gallery of Mykonos “Maria Iglessis” continues its artistic tributes to Greek and foreign artists with an exhibition of drawings by German artist Ingo Brosh, titled Hidden Mykonos – Κρυμμένη Μύκονος, during the last ten days of September.
Through his drawings, the German artist presents faces from contemporary Mykonian daily life, which he created in his studio after recording their personal stories during his stay on the island. Ingo does not depict the faces as silent and lifeless models, but rather seeks to externalize their psyche and illuminate the unseen side of Mykonos: the Mykonos of authenticity and its people.
Discover the unseen soul of Mykonos through a series of handmade portraits that capture the essence of both iconic and unsung personalities of the island.
The exhibition “Hidden Mykonos” presents faces that tell stories – fishermen, artists, hosts, and visionaries who silently shape the spirit of Mykonos.
Each drawing is a tribute to the serene beauty and human presence often hidden behind the glamour.
Surrender to gazes that speak without words and rediscover the island with new eyes.
