The winter season kicks off with theater! “He and He” by Kostas Mourselas.
Friday, September 19 at 8:30 PM at Lakkas Theater
With the performance “He and He,” we launch a series of family-friendly theater shows to accompany us at the start of the winter season.
The performance “He and He,” directed by Alexandros Rigas and starring Giorgos Konstantinou, Leonidas Kakouris, Dimitris Starovas, and Sofia Manolakou, after the warm reception and enthusiastic applause of theater lovers in Crete, Macedonia, and Thrace, continues its summer tour in Epirus, Peloponnese, Thessaly, and Attica, with its final stop in Mykonos on September 19. The renowned and iconic work “He and He” is a hymn to poetic roguery, absurd logical thought, and freewheeling humor. A piece akin to the Theatre of the Absurd and revue, but above all a satirical, thoughtful comedy—an “anarchic” – “rogue” – “subversive” comedy. A comedy beyond thoughts, beyond situations, beyond logic… Loukas (Giorgos Konstantinou) and Solon (Leonidas Kakouris), the two main protagonists, are wise, wandering bohemians—two people who want to be free, with nothing to hinder them on their journey to freedom.
